Stay Hydrated

Vienna has some of the best drinking water in the world! Mountain spring water of the highest quality comes out of any faucet you turn on. There are also drinking fountains to be found throughout the city. Please make use of the water bottles in your conference bag, sponsored by “Wiener Wasser”, especially during seminar session.

There are sinks in each seminar room in the main building and water pitchers in the Seminarrooms at Schenkenstraße, but no cups will be provided, in order to reduce waste. Vienna’s water supply is entirely covered by mountain springs – a factor that contributes to the high quality of life in our city. Groundwater is additionally introduced into the network in case of extremely high consumption during hot spells or maintenance work inside the spring water mains.

Behind this link you find more information on Vienna’s water.

Drinking fountains can also be found throughout the city. They are marked on the following map.
